The question of the day is: If this Valentines Day you get handcuffs from your partner, what message would you like to see on the gift tag?

First, I have to point out how impracticable handcuffs are. They’re unforgiving metal and they almost always press on this one particular nerve, no matter how you try to relax your wrists. So I’m gonna answer the question as if I’m receiving soft leather wrist cuffs, instead.

My DH has been known to text me to check my email while I’m at work, and when I check my personal email I find a note to go home and put my ankle and wrist cuffs on, and to set up a variety of toys. Perhaps the note will say to lay out a particular flogger and cane; or nipple clamps, a vibrating plug, and some zip ties; or any number of other things. Sometimes the instructions are just to be sure I’m lubed, stretched, and naked when he gets home.

We’ve recently acquired one day a week our kids go straight to an extracurricular activity from school, and we have about forty five minutes of alone time before we have to go pick them up. This week the instructions were to meet him at the range so we could squeeze in some target practice. It was fun, but I’m hoping for something a little sexier next week.
